I've been a little under the weather the last 24 hours or so. Nothing serious, just a headache and a rather blah feeling.
Thanks to everyone for your comments on my Now what? post. While your opinions were varied, you all made some salient points and I do appreciate them.
I think I'm going to go back to writing the bigger, darker novel. For now. It just feels right, as Gina said.
Of course, I reserve the right to change my mind. And probably I will, at some point. But for now, I'm plowing ahead.
It beats sitting here sweating out the beta readers.
